In this role, you will be a part of Cavnue’s systems engineering team developing, executing, and validating system readiness. You will work with a world-class team of engineers, operations, and product leaders to help deliver on Cavnue’s mission. Responsibilities:

  • Designing and creating test strategies and plans based on requirements in collaboration with multiple engineering teams (Product, Engineering, Programs) Identifying, debugging, and resolving system issues.
  • Optimizing test efficiencies and processes
  • Performing data analysis necessary to verify test results and fixes.
  • Creating scripts/tools to automate log analysis and system recovery actions
  • Developing and implementing deployment management strategies and procedures
  • Learning system architecture, design, functions and capabilities to support the integration and test of the new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Participating in wide-ranging engineering activities: requirements analysis, solution development, verification and validation as well as deployment.
  • Contracting test facilities and managing vendors to execute tests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of combined experience insystem prototype bringup, debugging and functional verification
  • Experience launching hardware products
  • Experience building and/or testing safety-critical and high-reliability systems
  • Experience with DFMEA and functional safety concept
  • Good understanding and/or exposure to system engineering practices to contribute to and/or assist with system integration, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, systems definition, requirements baseline control and management.
  • Ability to design high reliability and multi channel data acquisition and test instrumentation systems
  • Experience using statistics and large data sets to analyze test results and draw conclusions
  • Read and write code such as C++, C, java, python
  • PR verification and Regression testing
  • Strategic and analytical thinker
  • Strong focus on execution
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to meet tight schedules and work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. 
  • Domestic travel required, up to 50% at times.
  • Early-stage start-up experience is a plus.
